Our selection criteria

1. You must have at least one Avril Lavigne layout, and preferably three or more.

2. You must also offer a Christina Aguilera template. Bonus points if it uses the lyrics to Beautiful!

3. You need at least one template with a random Getty image at the top of the entry. Ideally the image should also have a totally irrelevant song lyric in scripty writing.

4. It would be great if you also offered a LOTR template (or six). Hobbits are hott!

5. You must also use swirly brushes, but make sure they were made by someone else! People who make their own brushes are NOT welcome on UGLIFY!!!

6. You must have been accused by at least one other 'designer' of stealing her code.

7. Unnecessary CSS is great. Make sure you specify your font-family, color, size etc. in at least three different places. We at UGLIFY!!! also love <FONT> tags... mmmm!

8. Colored scrollbars a-go-go! We like best the ones that are nearly totally invisible, or failing that in clashing colors.

9. Please make sure that some of your links malfunction! A good tip for this is to do all the diaryland variables in CAPITAL LETTERS and not tell people they need to be changed to lowercase.

10. Before submitting, please try to check your templates in a variety of different browsers and resolutions. If your layouts don't look like absolute shit on a Mac, we can't list you, sorry!

11. There is only one exception to all these rules, and that is if you have a template using comic sans as the display font you can automatically be listed! Just point us straight to the relevant design when you apply, and we'll skip all the other criteria! Whoo-hoo!
